Montana Cost of Living is an information site: you don’t need an account, and the calculators run entirely in your browser, so the numbers you type into them are not sent to us.
What we collect
- Email you send us. If you write to us, we keep your message and email address to reply and to fix any errors you report. We don’t add you to a mailing list.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our web host records basic technical information for each visit, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, for security and to keep the site running.
- Calculator inputs stay on your device. The salary calculator, town finder and rent vs. buy calculator do their math in your browser and don’t store or send what you enter.
Third-party services
Pages load fonts from Google Fonts and icons from Font Awesome. When your browser requests those files, those companies receive your IP address and browser information under their own privacy policies. We link to many outside sources; their sites have their own policies.
We don’t sell personal information. If we add analytics or advertising in the future, we’ll update this page first.
Cookies
Visitors who aren’t logged in generally don’t need cookies to use the site. WordPress sets cookies only for people who log in to manage it.
